I am Srividya R! Born and brought up in a South Indian family and married to a North Indian family. Mommy of two cute naughty kids and ex-banker.

I am a saree lover since childhood days and always been an admirer of South Indian Sarees and after marriage got exposure to different varieties of sarees in Indian culture…

That’s when I started exploring about the available special sarees from different states was dumbfounded with the rich culture attached to every designs…. 

But what also shocked me was the market which Is flooded with lookalikes….cheaper options and people are not informed about the quality and actual fabric what is being sold….

For e.g. art silk with Natural fabrics are expensive but art silk with nylon and polyesters are cheap…but it is not informed to buyers….machine made and handmade is not being differentiated to customers…people end up paying more for not that original fabric….
